We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team on 3-month FTC based in Birmingham (B32 3DB) or Burton (DE13 8FL). The ideal candidate will support the Human Resources department in ensuring smooth and efficient administration of the employee lifecycle, processing requests and answering queries in an accurate and timely manner.
As a member of the Human Resource team, you will (Responsibilities):
1. Maintain HCM (UKG) system to ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee data including joiners, changes to role, leavers, changes to personal information, holidays and absences.
2. Support hiring managers to raise HC requisitions in HCM (UKG) system.
3. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, variation letters and other documentation.
4. Catch up outstanding contracts to ensure compliance.
5. Support onboarding process: right to work checks, new starter paperwork, first day arrangements/inductions.
6. Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data.
7. Support HR projects, e.g., pension changes and health benefit roll out.
8. Other HR administration duties as and when required.
We’d Love to hear from you if you have these skills (Requirements):
1. Previous experience in a similar HR role (minimum 12 months).
2. Strong administration and communication skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
3. A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work in a team and alone.
4. Previous experience producing absence and diversity statistics for senior management.
5. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
6. Ability to prioritise tasks and work to specific time frames.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Good Excel skills.
9. Experienced using UKG HCM or other people management system would also be an advantage.
