We are looking to recruit a 1:1 Medical and Learning Support Assistant to work as part of a small team providing specific medical care to a named student and support with their learning in their timetabled lessons.
Our support to students with Special Educational Needs is very effective. If you respect teenagers, are hardworking, skilled at dealing with young people, flexible, and really care about making a positive difference to our students’ experience at school, we would like to hear from you.
We are fortunate to have Teachers with us who started their careers with Soham Village College as Teaching Assistants and progressed by applying for opportunities as they occurred.
We would love to hear from applicants who are looking for an interesting and varied role, as you will be providing the necessary support to enable a student to have a rewarding and engaging school experience.
Job Details
1. Hours: 32 hours 30 minutes per week
2. Schedule: 8.20am – 3.10pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
3. Salary range: £21,451 – £21,673 (Based on fte £25,584 – £25,848, Dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience)
