About the Role:
One of my clients, a leading IT Consultancy, are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to join their team, reporting directly to the UK VP of Sales. You’ll lead a team of around 10 sales professionals, driving both individual and team success by securing bookings from new and existing clients.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage sales strategies, foster strong client and stakeholder relationships, and collaborate across departments to deliver outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Team Management: Motivate, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve or exceed targets.
* Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth through both new client acquisitions and expansion of existing accounts.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate robust relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to support sales initiatives.
* Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with a focus on high-quality lead qualification.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-sales, Delivery, and Marketing teams to enhance sales strategies and outcomes.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Provide precise sales forecasts and insightful reports to senior leadership.
* Talent Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and the professional development of team members.
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in a Sales Director or senior sales leadership role, ideally in professional services
* Prior experience working for a consultancy
* A strong track record of driving revenue growth and leading successful sales teams.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and coach a diverse team.
* Expertise in building and managing sales pipelines and achieving targets.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in CRM tools.
