Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week - This will need to be fully flexible over week days and weekends.
Job Description:
I'm currently looking for a PA who can help support me with gaining independence - This support would include helping to prompt me in the morning and helping me regulate my morning routine, supporting me out in the community, supporting me and encourage me on pursing hobbies and interest such as Ice skating & singing and other day to day activities. I need a PA who is confident and has experience with Neurodiversity and care. My PA will be someone who is confident in supporting me while also having a calm, positive & patient attitude. My PA will be understanding that I am a wheelchair user and I will use this to get around when my OCD become too overwhelming. My PA will be able to drive my automatic car and have the relevant insurance to do this. I will need a PA who has a valid enhanced DBS. The weekly hours will be 35hours per a week but this will need to be fully flexible over week days and weekends as I have days where I do not require a PA but these are not set days currently. I will need support with admin so a PA with knowledge of forms and emails etc would be an advantage. I will need support ordering and organising my medications.
I'm looking for a PA who is bright and vibrant who I can have a laugh with and can take my witty humour, my PA needs to be understanding on autism and ADHD and not take my humour to heart and be able to give me the banter back.
This role will start with minimal personal care but PA needs to be prepared to step in and assist with this if family members are not around to support with this.
My PA will support me to the shops, I have a gluten intolerance so I will need my PA to looks for new foods and assisting with checking ingredients.
I like to collect vinyl's from HMV in Nottingham so PA will be required to support me to do this to help me gain my independence.

About me:
I'm a young lady who requires support to gain my independence. I have a range of hobbies that I am eager to take part in but I just need that extra bit of support to do this. I love to have a joke with my family and I would love a PA who can take my humour and join in with me. I would like to meet my PA and gradually build the hours up with them as we get use to each other.
