Job Purpose:
Working closely with the Digital Marketing manager and the rest of the marketing team, you will plan, schedule, execute and report on the following key areas:
1. Plan and deploy CRM marketing campaigns across both UK and US markets.
2. Own both the automated and daily email campaigns.
3. Maintain and optimise marketing campaigns in line with business objectives.
4. Utilise 1st party data to create optimal targeting segments within campaign workflow.
5. Monitor weekly performance of CRM activity, optimising to ensure delivery to KPIs.
6. Report to business on performance of activity managed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategies across all digital channels including CRM & paid digital channels.
2. Work with the creative and brand teams to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and creative delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed plans.
3. Present finalised plans to the Marketing Manager / wider leadership team for sign off.
4. Own and execute the signed off plans, ensuring they are delivered on time.
5. Brief relevant internal and external stakeholders on agreed plans and ensure subsequent changes are communicated quickly and efficiently.
6. Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to continually improve the ROI / CPA of marketing activity.
7. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure a positive working process.
8. Make recommendations to influence the wider budgeting process.
9. Set up & test promotional codes for any marketing activity.
10. Accurately track performance and create reporting, analysis & insights to be shared with internal and external stakeholders.
11. Monitor and report on key competitor activity.
12. Adopt a test and learn mentality whilst testing new innovative ideas to drive performance.
Skills, know-how and experience:
Must have:
1. Previous experience of working in a digital marketing role.
2. A knowledge of current digital advertising platforms & email marketing.
3. Confident with numbers able to use data from previous marketing campaigns to create future strategy.
4. Previous experience working with an Email service provider (Ometria preferred).
5. Customer focused.
6. Good team worker.
7. A creative mind with exciting ideas for content & strategy.
8. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
9. Good communication skills, a proactive approach and a “can do” attitude.
10. Confidence to challenge procedures & suggest new ways of working.
11. Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
12. Must have high attention to detail e.g. proofreading, spelling, grammar.
13. PC literate especially in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Preferred:
1. Business or marketing degree/qualification preferred.
2. Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics.
3. Experience creating, delivering, and optimizing e-CRM marketing campaigns.
Technical / professional qualifications:
1. Educated to a Bachelors degree in Marketing (desirable).
Key stakeholders:
1. Working closely with, but not limited to, the broader marketing team, brand, creative, merchandising, retail, wholesale, and call centre.
