Further Information
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safer Communities Service that tackles quality of life issues across the city. The service covers issues such as environmental crime, environmental enforcement, parking, city centre management, CCTV, community safety and anti-social behaviour.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to take on the roles of city centre enforcement officers. The role will be part of a uniformed team delivering a visible presence in the city and will provide advice, support and enforcement to residents, visitors, and businesses in the city centre and other locations across Peterborough.
Working a 7-day shift pattern, and patrolling as directed, you will need to have the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner, stay calm under pressure, have good communication skills and be able to interpret and enforce legislation where and when necessary.
If you like working outdoors, dealing with the public, and making a positive difference to improve Peterborough, then come and join the Safer Communities Service.
We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
