Alma Veterinary Hospital in Windsor is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. We are seeking a hands-on RVN who is competent in all aspects of nursing and strives to provide gold standard care to both our patients and clients. Our current RVNs cover a range of shifts varying between the hours of 7.30am-7.30pm and night shifts from 7pm-8am to cover the care of our inpatients.

Alma Veterinary Hospital is located in Windsor, surrounded by beautiful countryside along the Thames path and Windsor Great Park. The town is affluent and has many restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance from the practice. Windsor has excellent transport links into London Paddington and London Waterloo, and is approximately 15 mins from Heathrow and 45 mins from Gatwick.

Alma Veterinary Hospital is a fully equipped first opinion practice seeing a wide range of surgical and medical cases. We have 4 consultation rooms, separate cat and dog waiting rooms and wards, a dedicated dental suite, an imaging room, and a full in-house laboratory. We are proud to be the only practice within a 15-mile radius able to offer laparoscopic surgery to our patients.

We have a wonderful team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons and 11 nurses, including 8 RVNs and 3 students. Our support staff includes our Practice Manager, Reception, and Admin teams, and a Nursing Assistant. Many of the team at Alma have been at the practice for many years, creating a caring family-like environment.
