Your role and responsibilities Based in Lowestoft, this challenging and varied role allows you to take responsibility for your area supporting School Crossing Patrols in the north of the county, from Beccles in the west, to Leiston in the south, but mainly focussing on the Lowestoft area. You will: provide day to day supervision of School Crossing Patrol and Relief School Crossing Patrol Officers and the sites in your area assist in the recruitment and training of School Crossing Patrol Officers maintain the School Crossing Patrol service at a high standard maintain a healthy and safe working environment for team members by regular inspection and giving advice to the patrols. You will need an NVQ Level 4/5 (undergraduate), or Level 3 (A levels) working towards foundation degree, or evidence of knowledge and experience of Road Safety, HR or Management to be able to demonstrate a passion for making a positive difference for Suffolk to be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport and road safety for all to be a confident communicator, and enjoy building effective relationships with team members to help deliver our objectives.
