If this sounds like you, then here’s everything you need to know: What you'll be doing: Reviewing open order book daily. Chasing suppliers where necessary – order acknowledgements, obtaining PODs, lead times, pricing etc. Placing of domestic and international purchase orders and all associated tasks. Arranging or organising shipment plans with international suppliers. Reviewing stock profiles and working with suppliers and Product Manager about correct portfolio – ROL, special or stocked items. SO99 Maintenance/Inventory control procedures. Managing aged stock and slow moving lines, quarterly stock rotation. Selection and development of service providers e.g., freight forwarders. Constant pursuit of better pricing and terms of purchase. Building supplier relationships. Reviewing rebates and working to targets. Creating part codes and BOM codes via PIM and Navi. Vendor clean up. Adding alternatives/supplementary, updating EOL lines via PIM. Mass uploads including monthly pricelist updates. Gathering all the relevant data from suppliers and ensuring product database integrity. What you'll have: Experience in a purchasing/supply chain role. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Strong communication skills. Effective negotiation skills. Attention to detail.
