Lead Patient Coordinator Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: From £32,000, depending on experience

Your role and responsibilities
The Lead Patient Co-ordinator will be responsible for the efficient output of cases across all departments of the practice. Working closely with the clinicians, nursing team and leadership team you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling of the day, including timely management of emergencies and prevention of delays.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Nursing Services (HONS), Senior Nursing Team and Leads across the Practice to ensure the effective delivery of outstanding patient care. This role requires strong, inclusive, decisive leadership, clear communication and the ability to inspire and motivate the team in order to deliver the Linnaeus nursing strategy and achieve the practice's goals.
Opportunities for career development
1. This exciting role will allow you to build upon your existing leadership skills with the support of the Clinical Operations Team Lead, Head of Nursing Services and the Linnaeus Central Professional Development Team.
2. You will liaise with the Clinical Operations Team Lead to identify recruitment needs within your department and take an active role in the recruitment selection process.
3. You will be actively encouraged to utilise and contribute to a large varied range of industry-leading clinical and non-clinical CPD, available via our Central Professional Development Team.

1. You will need to be a highly motivated self-starter able to demonstrate leadership qualities to co-ordinate, support and motivate our busy hospital by prioritising, problem-solving and delegating effectively.
2. You will have experience of, and a passion for, mentoring and training colleagues and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills to assist in managing conflicting priorities.
3. Your desire to provide the best clinical service to our patients will allow you to demonstrate a proactive approach to developing and shaping a growing hospital.
Specific experiences / qualifications / status / citizenship requirements
1. Right to Work in the UK
2. Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) registration with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
3. Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
4. Leadership/training experience
5. Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of your work.
