Senior Product Manager, Seller Inventory Management Services
We are looking for a dynamic and data-driven Product Manager who can drive innovation, set up the processes, and execute in the space of Inventory Management and Automation for Premium 3P sellers on the A.in Marketplace.
You will own ASIN level Forecasting charter for P3P sellers and work with internal stakeholders to drive automation. This includes exploration of micro-models (using ML) to forecast customer demand better for P3P sellers and build systems & process improvements. The stakeholders include P3P Seller ISMs, SCOT tech teams, and delivering inventory outcomes that make the Amazon India business sustainable and profitable in the long term. You will create, write, and review business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, and develop solutions from conceptualization to execution and monitoring.
This position requires strong self-motivation, self-starting, and product management skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work closely with stakeholders to develop Forecasting product strategy & roadmap, dashboards, and modes of execution to solve complex problems related to inventory management.
Key job responsibilities
1. Ensure sellers' Forecasting automation performance in line with entitlement.
2. Identify and articulate the strategic importance of metrics as a basis for managing tradeoffs, reducing costs, improving the customer experience, and making decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Work closely with stakeholder teams to drive incremental improvements to the forecasting models.
4. Define, prioritize, and monitor the execution of product initiatives (e.g., models) to achieve targets delivered on time.
5. Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other data management systems.
6. Monitor model execution and ensure that the delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program.
7. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business nuances to be considered in forecasting models.
Successful candidates will have high analytical skills, a strong deep dive bias, excellent communication skills, strong influencing abilities, curiosity, high motivation, and effectiveness within distributed teams.
The position is located in Bangalore, India.

Driving adoption of the existing forecasting system available with sellers and monitoring any manual intervention & its effectiveness to improve automation.
About the team
Seller Inventory Management Services (SIMS) comprises three verticals: a) Centre of Retail Excellence (CoRE) - the team drives inventory automation with P3P sellers, b) Business Operational Excellence (BOX) - the team supports P3P sellers in inbound management, inventory health management, and drives Operational Excellence programs, and c) Vendor Experience (VX) - the team drives improvements in Inbound and RTV operations via vendor-facing feature launches. This role is for the CoRE vertical.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
2. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
3. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
4. Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
5. Experience as a product manager or owner.
6. Experience owning technology products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
3. Master's degree or equivalent.
4. 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
