* Hours: 20 hours per week fixed term for 1 year with the potential for extension. Actual Salary for 20 hours: £16577.60 (rising to £17,846.40 after a 12 month probation period pro rata)
Role
We’re hiring a dedicated Women’s Hub Support and Trauma Worker.
WRASAC, supported by partners across Dundee, is responsible for the setting up, development, and facilitation of Dundee Women’s Hub (DWH). The main aim of the DWH is to increase capacity and coordination of services to respond to the needs of women experiencing substance use and multiple disadvantages. The hub has been working to improve access to substance use and related services for women in Dundee, with the overall goal of improving physical and emotional wellbeing for women who experience substance use and multiple disadvantages.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing support to women using trauma-informed support skills to those impacted by substance use and/or other multiple disadvantages.
