Experienced Senior Architectural Technologist required to join a very successful Construction and development company located in Garforth, Leeds.\n\nOur client are one of the UK's leading purpose build residential care home developers and constructors. Over 30 years of innovation, within their vertically integrated model, this has allowed them to perfect the care home designs and they are currently on track to design and build 30 car homes per year!\n\nAbout the Senior Architectural Technologist role;\n\nDue to the rapid growth and forecast of significant new projects, they are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their Technical design team. The candidate will be responsible for the technical design and detailing of multiple care home projects.
The role will involves working closely with all project stakeholders to ensure that design are practical, compliant with regulations and implemented effectively. \n\nKey responsibilities\n\nTo produce detailed architectural designs and drawings using CAD software.\nTo work closely with all in house disciplines, site teams and external consultants.\nEnsure designs meet building regulations, standards, and sustainability requirements.\nCoordinate with site teams, engineers, and other stakeholders.\nAssist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.\nMonitor project progress and ensure timely completion.\nBuilding Regulations and Compliance.\nEnsure that all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.\nPrepare and submit planning applications and building control applications.\nLiaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as needed.\nPrepare detailed specifications and schedules.\nMaintain accurate project documentation and records.\nSite Visits and Inspections:Skills & Qualification \n\nA degree or equivalent qualification in architectural technology, building technology, or a related field.\nProficiency in AutoCAD software.\nStrong understanding of building construction, materials, and methods.\nIn depth knowledge of UK building regulations and associated standards.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independently.\nMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or architectural industry.\nProven track record of successful project delivery.In return our client offer a great place to work with excellent benefits including:\n\nSalary up to £45,000 per annum.\nVery generous discretionary Bonus Scheme payable twice annually\nPension contribution\nOpportunity to purchase additional annual leave\nFree Parking at head office\n4-weekly pay (13 pay days per year)\nFree onsite gym / canteen\n\nPlease hit apply and provide an updated CV or call James Jackson at Conrad Consulting for more information
