Job summary This is a great time to consider a role as a dermatology specialist nurse. You will become part of an expanding dedicated team who cover a wide range of treatments including skin surgery, phototherapy, outpatient clinics, dressing's clinics and nurse led therapies, along with ensuring that an effective and high quality service is delivered to all patients. The service is open Monday to Friday 8am - 17:30 Main duties of the job The post holder will support the Dermatology Nursing Team in the management of the department. They will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs for patients with many Dermatological conditions. They will develop, implement and evaluate the care for patients attending the Dermatology Day Unit. The post holder will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care associated with Dermatology Outpatient clinics including performing and assisting in Dermatological surgical procedures, treating patients with Photodynamic Therapy and Phototherapy.
