Total Care Recruitment is seeking a motivated and compassionateCase Worker for a supported temporary accommodation service inDungannon offering 24/7 support for homeless individuals aged 18 and over. As a Case Worker, you will play an essential role in providing holistic support to service users, empowering them to make positive changes for their future. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting individuals through a housing-led, low threshold, harm reduction approach. Your role will involve providing tailored support plans, engaging with external agencies, and assisting service users with their transition into the service and their community integration. Job Type: Part-Time 17.5 hours per week (Afternoons, Evenings, and Weekends) Full-Time 35 hours per week (Afternoons, Evenings, and Weekends) Key Responsibilities: Service User Support: Work in a person-centred and professional manner, assessing service users' safety and wellbeing needs and developing appropriate support plans. Key Working: Partner with service users and external agencies to deliver meaningful and effective support. Encourage service users to integrate into the community in line with good neighbourhood principles. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and conduct wellbeing and health checks. Administration: Maintain accurate client records, manage incidents and accidents, and complete other necessary administrative tasks. Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, handovers, and the mentoring of volunteers. Support colleagues to ensure all decisions are consistent and aligned with vision and values. Key Requirements: Qualifications: A formal Level 3 qualification in a social care field (e.g., diploma in health and social care or equivalent). NISCC Registration Experience: At least2 years of relevant paid work experience in a similar role or3 years experience with Level 2 qualifications (including Math and English, e.g., GCSEs or NVQs). Skills: Knowledge of risk assessment and management. Strong IT skills, including using systems to record client information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to compile accurate reports and documentation. Knowledge: Understanding of homelessness and related issues. Knowledge of statutory and voluntary sector resources available to individuals experiencing homelessness. Awareness of health and safety standards and procedures in a care environment. Circumstances: Ability to work a flexible rota, including weekends, evenings, and mornings. Access to a car (insured for business purposes) and a valid driving license is essential.
