Customer Sales Administrator (B2B)

Global CTS Recruitment is proud to partner with this long-standing leading product-based company in their search for a proactive and professional Customer Sales Administrator. This pivotal role will see you supporting External Account Managers by managing customer relationships and ensuring a seamless sales process from enquiry to fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support: Assist road-based Account Managers with tenders, quotations, and customer follow-ups on outstanding or lapsed projects.
2. Customer Enquiries: Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails, delivering excellent service.
3. Order Management: Oversee sales orders, liaising with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
4. CRM Maintenance: Keep systems updated to ensure accurate customer records and streamlined operations.
5. Problem Solving: Proactively address customer issues with empathy and efficiency.
6. Scheduling: Manage the showroom rota and assist with appointment bookings for Key Account Managers.
7. Calling: Small percentage of time calling lapsed customers, chasing quotes for orders not placed and Account Managing customers.
Additional Duties:
1. Provide cover for the Sales Administrator during holidays or absences.
2. Support ad hoc administrative tasks as required to maintain operational flow.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Organised Multitasker: Capable of managing multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
2. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
3. Dynamic Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
4. Customer-Focused: Experience in outbound calls and a proactive approach to identifying and developing opportunities.
5. Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset with a drive to contribute to team success.
6. Industry Experience: Knowledge of the furniture industry or prior Sales Support experience is desirable but not essential.
