About the Role
You are a strategic, driven and experienced Facility Shift Manager, with the skills, clarity of thought, and ambition to turn our vision into reality. To monitor all engineering assets at the data center by following regulations and guidelines set out in Yondr’s maintain and operate model. To monitor Service provider and contractor works and operations by liaising with all parties, to ensure any proposed works are delivered in compliance with statutory regulation and in line with the site policy including client rules, processes and procedures. Working schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, however, you should be willing to provide cover for peers on a 24/7 shift patterns as and when required.
Main Responsibilities
1. Escalate and communicate appropriately incidents to nominated persons in the procedure
2. Ensure all systems are monitored appropriately to ensure timely attendance by the 24/7 team
3. Assist the service provider and contractors in Root Cause Analysis of incidents
4. Assist the service provider with planning requirements relating to Projects and Planned maintenance
5. Assist in the Planning of works which fall under the remit of shift work flows, PPM, Incident reporting, Incident Management and attendance
6. Oversight of any planned and unplanned activities
7. To proactively work towards and meet the performance objectives of the service delivery for the client
8. Report on health and safety aspects particular to shift duties
9. The recording of all maintenance tasks performed complete and incomplete including any necessary reports in reference to repairs and preventative schedules
10. Provide reports at the end of every shift
11. Support the Critical service Manager with feedback and suggestions for improvement
12. Assist with Technical improvement and discussions around all aspects of delivery on site
13. Strong Safety Mindset, with attention to detail (HSE) - PTW, Isolation systems & RAMS
14. Ability to perform audits on multiple systems, ISO 9000, 14000, 27000 and 55000
15. To ensure the shift engineers are undertaking work tasks as directed and with suitable H&S awareness/implementation
16. Complete all required training
Qualifications and experience
1. Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical, Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution
2. HV switching experience and have a current HV training certificate
3. Be qualified as an electrical or mechanical engineer to the current standards
4. Have good communication skills verbally and written
5. Be a team player and understand the commitment to process required within a critical environment
6. Good Leadership & Management skill
