Part Time Cover Supervisor Hours: Part Time, Wednesday to Friday each week during the core hours of 8am - 4pm, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus INSET) Payscale: H5(9) £27,115 (actual salary will be pro-rata depending on number of hours per week) Contract: Fixed term until the end of the summer term 2025 We are looking for an ambitious, committed and caring professional to join our small team of Cover Supervisors. The main responsibility will be to supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff. Verulam Cover Supervisors deliver pre-prepared lessons when teachers are absent. A good level of education, preferably to degree standard is advantageous, or a track record of working with young people in educational or sporting settings. A full induction/training and support programme is provided. This post would be particularly suitable for a recent graduate or someone wishing to gain experience prior to training as a teacher.
