My client, a trusted global manufacturer within the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Demand Production Planner to join the well-established team based in Cwmbran. This is a newly created role that plays a crucial part in improving customer satisfaction by ensuring the orders are fulfilled on time.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for reporting on production to ensure it meets customer delivery requirements. Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating demand and finished goods inventory across all business units.
2. Managing resource planning to support both current and potential business opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with Sales, Supply Chain and Production teams to develop a robust production plan to meet customer demand efficiently and achieve Company KPI's.
2. Lead weekly SIOP meetings to communicate operational plans and resolve any issues.
3. Liaise collaboratively with Supply Chain to coordinate the timing from Suppliers and ensure outstanding delivery issues are communicated and resolved before impacting production plan or customer despatch dates.
4. Liaise collaboratively with Production and Warehousing teams to improve inventory control and minimize obsolescence.
5. Liaise collaboratively with Operations leadership team to use available data to undertake capacity analysis and forward planning assessments, ensuring adequate resources are available to meet a diversifying product portfolio, customer requirements, and target stocking levels.
6. Support the implementation of new process changes to enhance operational efficiency.
What you will require to be successful:
1. Experience of developing Production plans.
2. Practical experience of SIOP process.
3. A team player who can liaise with others and build relationships.
4. Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
5. MRP and stock management experience (Desirable).
