Our established one-year programme offers successful applicants the chance to be part of an innovative public sector organisation, experience responsibility and a variety of work activities while gaining an industry recognised qualification.\n\nApprentices on this 12-month programme will be assigned to the International team and undertake a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Business and Administration delivered in partnership with RT Resources. The International team is a small but dynamic sales team, who deliver business development and customer support services to our international customers. Youâll work alongside the Head of Service and other team members to provide admin support to the team, international customers and stakeholders. \n\nOver your 12-month placement, you will gain hands-on, practical experience in an innovative business development role within a public-sector organisation to expand and develop your transferable skills. This role offers an excellent entry point for individuals seeking a career in business and/or administration.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProviding administrative support, ensuring activities are carried out accurately, according to plan and in line with processes\nManaging the team mailbox and acting as first point of contact for International inquiries, providing a high level of customer service for our customers\nMaking travel arrangements, bookings and carrying out risk assessments\nFile management to ensure information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible to the team\nMeeting co-ordination and diary management\nProviding Personal Assistant (PA) support to the Head of International There are no entry criteria for this role.
