We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker in Children Services to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children and families in various situations.
Develop, implement, and monitor individual service plans for children.
Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure coordinated care.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to children and families.
Advocate for children's rights and well-being in different settings.
Document case notes and maintain accurate records of service delivery and outcomes.
Participate in training and professional development to stay current with best practices in child welfare.
Requirements
A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent is preferred.
Experience working with children and families in a social service setting.
Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and relevant legal frameworks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £28.14
Location: Bath, Bath & N E Somerset
