Medivet Barnes White Hart Lane is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team.
We are a small animal first opinion practice with experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Receptionists.
Our practice is fully equipped with a laboratory, including biochemistry, haematology, and a microscope. We have two consultation rooms, a spacious reception area, both digital and dental x-ray, a separate dental room, a theatre, dog and cat wards, and a preparation area.
We are located in the heart of SW London, with a high street village presence, an excellent client base, and a varied clientele.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 6 weekends at our Richmond 24-hour Hospital.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures.
2. Provide exceptional care to your clients, giving clear updates on patients.
3. Deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
4. Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
5. Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way.
6. Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care.
7. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience:
1. RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
2. Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
3. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
4. Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
5. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
6. Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
7. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
