We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assessor to join an FE College based in King’s Cross on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Level 1 Electrical courses to new groups of students.
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Ensure all teaching and assessment practices meet the required standards.
* Support students in achieving their learning goals and preparing for assessments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation or a related field.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in teaching Electrical courses, particularly at Level 1.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students.
* Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
* Experience with assessment and verification processes.
* Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies in Electrical Installation.
* Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms.
