Job Description:
Are you passionate about safety and compliance? We are looking for a Global Hazard Communication Expert within our Global Regulatory Function.
In this crucial role, you will:
* Classify Syngenta materials according to UN GHS and transport regulations.
* Produce and manage Safety Data Sheets for our global portfolio.
* Support hazard communication projects, SAP EHS reporting, and data quality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
o Manage classification and labelling activities.
o Maintain master data in SAP EHS.
o Assess toxicological data for classification purposes in coordination with expert toxicologists.
o Contribute to global hazard communication processes.
o Support regulatory submissions and regional SDS authors.
Qualifications
What we are looking for?
* Degree in science (preferably post-graduate qualification), or equivalent professional experience.
* Working experience in a product safety or regulatory field.
* Knowledge of safety data sheet and hazard/transport classification processes and regulations, with experience in REACH, CLP, UN GHS beneficial.
* Experience with data preparation and analysis with an ability to analyse problems and manage large amounts of detailed information.
* Experience with SAP EHS and SDS authoring beneficial.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills (interactions with various functions, partly remote).
