Office Administrator
£22,639.50-£24,141, between Harrogate and Knaresborough, office based, on site parking, 37 hours per week, DBS certificate supplied, full training and development plan.
We are currently recruiting an Office Administrator for this locally based business. You will work in a small friendly team providing administration support to your dedicated team. This role will involve a variety of administrative duties so previous experience would be preferred. Successful candidates will be offered a full training and development programme to further their skills and give them a full understanding of the business and different departments.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, confident on a computer and keen to be part of a busy office team.
Office Administrator Responsibilities will include:
* Providing administrative support to your dedicated team
* Diary management and arranging meetings
* Taking minutes in meetings
* Creating mail merge letters, newsletters etc.
* Processing payments
* Maintaining reports and records
* Updating client database
* Liaising with third party professionals
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Ordering stationery and sundries for your department
Requirements for this Office Administrator role:
* Have a good level of English and maths, GCSE or equivalent
* Be able to learn on the job
* Enthusiastic and confident attitude to work
* Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications
* Previous experience in an administration role would be good but not essential
Successful candidates will be subject to DBS checks prior to starting. This will be provided for you due
to the nature of the safeguarding policies and procedures on site.
This is a full time office based role so you should be prepared to work 37 hours per week in the office.
This Office Administrator role would suit someone who has worked as an office administrator, receptionist, secretary or similar. However if you are looking for your first role in an office, as long as you have good computer skills, training can be given.
