Role Requirements:
Workshop
1. Prospecting our existing database and customers whose details have been supplied by Honda UK that reside in our catchment area for any due service work, Mot’s, Safety Recalls, Service plan sales and warranty expiration. Updating all communication through our CRM (online diary).
2. Booking-in workshop customers via our Dealer Management System’s workshop diary. Ensuring any required Courtesy bikes are booked out on our system.
3. Checking customers in on the day of their booking; confirming booked work and discussing any additional work needed, inspecting their bike for any damage and showing them their booked courtesy bike and completing all relevant paperwork.
4. Explaining any identified worn parts found on our vehicle health check, confirming additional work to be carried out or making an additional booking for future work.
5. Workshop collection; showing the customer what work has been carried out (physically on the bike) to ensure they are highly satisfied with their experience and conclude invoicing and payment.
Parts and accessories
1. Helping customers to identify the correct parts required over the counter/by phone. Ordering any non-stocked items required from our suppliers, communicating ETA’s and organizing collection dates and/or delivery.
2. Pre booking parts to workshop jobs in good time to allow for parts not stocked.
3. Taking full responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the parts and accessories stores.
4. Carry out routine stock checks to ensure the accuracy of our DMS.
Helmets and clothing
1. Stay up to date with the latest product features and benefits through training which will be provided in-store by our suppliers.
2. Sharing this information with our customers to help them make an informed decision to purchase items that fit their needs and wants.
3. Ensuring all helmets and clothing are showcased and are displayed well with a correct price and barcode at all times.
4. Work with suppliers to ensure we are stocking items that appeal to our clients.
Skills Required
1. The ideal candidate should have a background in Sales/Aftersales from either the motorcycle or automotive industries.
2. Must be IT literate and comfortable with learning in house systems.
3. Parts and clothing retail sales experience from within the motorcycle industry could also be advantageous.
4. The successful candidate will be personable, highly motivated and able to achieve consistently high levels of customer service.
5. They will also be an effective communicator and must have a passion for motorcycles.
6. A good understanding of motorcycle mechanics would be beneficial but isn't essential.
