Our Technology & Digital Development (T&DD) department is responsible for the Technology and digitalisation strategy in Danske Bank UK. This will include maximising delivery from existing technology solutions and working with internal and external networks, as well as Group Technology Services to build use cases / POCs to secure investment into new and emerging technologies which will help Danske Bank offer truly innovative digital customer solutions. The department consists of over 100 staff split across 5 teams Data & Analytics; Customer Journeys; Automation & Digital Development; Change Management; and IT & Information Security. The IT & Information Security team is a critical 1st line-of-defence team that works with a wide variety of business and technical stakeholders (including 3rd parties) across the entire Danske group. Our purpose is to support the Bank in maintaining a stable, secure and scalable IT platform which meets the expectations of our stakeholders. Our work is aligned to international standards such as ISO20000 & ISO27001; and best practice such as ITIL; and includes working collaboratively with colleagues to support: IT governance, risks & controls (including regulatory compliance); Information & cyber security; Design & transition of new or changed IT services; and IT service delivery (day-to-day IT support & operations). As a Senior IT Manager within the IT & Information Security team, youll be responsible for leading & mentoring the team in all aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities. This incorporates the provision of specialist advice & guidance to business and technical stakeholders on all matters relating to IT governance & management, including cybersecurity, infrastructure and delivery. The role also acts as a key point of contact with Group colleagues to help ensure timely delivery of services which align to the Banks strategic goals. Your skills: Essential: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR 5 years relevant IT industry experience Extensive experience in all aspects of IT governance and management, acting in a team lead capacity, including several years in a leadership or senior managerial role. Experience in supporting IT strategic planning, project delivery, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to drive technical vision and strategy Experience in providing technical input and challenge to recommendations and engaging with Architects, Engineers, SMEs and other stakeholders throughout the business to recommend solutions Experience in acting as a trusted advisor communicating complex technical information effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders Encouraging innovation and staying abreast of industry trends and technologies. Experience in developing IT policies, security standards and meeting regulatory requirements as part of maintaining & evolving a robust IT Risk Management Framework (and associated reporting/MI) to ensure effective management of IT risks on an ongoing basis Experience of leading information security & IT risk assessments (working with vendors and colleagues) that are required for existing, new or enhanced IT services including consideration of cloud technologies, AI, etc. Experience in leading the delivery of day to day IT operational activities in line with SLAs and agreed best practice processes (e.g. ITIL) Preferred: ITIL, COBIT or equivalent IT Service Management accreditation Information security certification such as CISM Experience of working with an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow or equivalent Experience of working within a regulated environment Why youll want to work with us: At Danske Bank were driven by a clear purpose to help customers, colleagues and society thrive.
