Position 1: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and every third weekend (variable hours)
Position 2: Monday to Friday 4pm-9pm. Every second weekend 8am-4pm/4pm-9pm (variable hours)
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Fife. As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of care and companionship to help keep clients independent in their own home.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry-leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for. Here's what it would involve:
* Minimum 1-hour visits
* Introductions to all new clients
* Visiting the same clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build meaningful relationships
* Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
* Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
* Accompanying to appointments or shopping
* Personal care - supporting our clients with essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
EXPERIENCE:
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to interact with residents and their families effectively.
* Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and using care management software.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients or travelling between locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
