Randstad Education is looking for HLTAs to work day-to-day and long-term supply needed to cover a variety of schools based in BB3 area which specialises in working with children between ages 2-11. The pupils need emotional support and reassurance from time to time and require encouragement to follow a positive behaviour plan set in place by the teacher and staff. The post involves covering classes when the teacher has PPA time or is unavailable.
Requirements of the job:
* You should ideally hold a relevant HLTA qualification.
* An Enhanced Child DBS (we can also help with the process if you don't already have one).
* Experience working with children or young adults with special learning or emotional needs.
* Patience to handle possible challenging behaviour.
