Job Scope and Main Responsibilities
A Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance, and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. A store manager is expected to improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership, and development of the people in their team. As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador the store manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture. This role is based in Bluewater Shopping.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the store’s day-to-day operations.
* Ensure all KPI targets and expectations are delivered.
* Ensure costs are kept to a minimum and stock loss is in within company guidelines.
* Regularly analyses sales performance, maximising strengths and reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement
* To follow all company policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of the business
* Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Keep abreast of and be knowledgeable of competitor activity
* Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge
* Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines
* Ensuring that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercially focused
* Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in store
* Create an engaging and positive working environment
* Establish a store culture that embraces diversity and maximises the learnings from a diverse team
* Lead store team to deliver brand story (and Sunglass Hut experience, if applicable) through effective store management
* Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
* Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
* Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of the store
