Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs Full-Time Position Are you a patient, resilient, and nurturing individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who have found mainstream settings challenging. You will be supporting students between the ages of 11-16 with Autistic spectrum conditions, including, social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders and mental health needs. The students require the right educator to build strong, trusting relationships to help them thrive. The ideal candidate will: Be patient, empathetic, and resilient. Have experience supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs. Be committed to fostering a safe and comfortable learning environment. Possess strong relationship-building skills to engage students effectively. A background in Psychology is highly desirable, as it can provide valuable insights and approaches to understanding and supporting the students’ unique needs.
