Recognised Employer – Great Place to Work certified. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the UK Mediterranean inbound market. You will manage client relationships, promote new destinations, and contribute to the strategic development of Mediterranean market opportunities in the UK. Key Responsibilities Client Relations : Build and maintain relationships with both existing and potential new clients, ensuring timely, creative, and professional responses to enquiries. Business Development : Promote new destinations and products, converting enquiries into confirmed business. Group Programmes : Oversee the preparation and costing of group travel programmes, ensuring alignment with client needs. CRM & System Use : Utilise Tourplan NX and CRM systems for quoting, tracking, and managing client interactions. Sales & Marketing : Implement sales and marketing activities, including virtual and in-person client meetings. Team Leadership : Manage and mentor team members, ensuring high performance. On-Call Support : Participate in the 24-hour on-call support rota for clients and staff. Requirements Essential: Fluency in English and Italian and/or Spanish (oral and written). Strong knowledge of the UK tourism industry and the Mediterranean inbound market. Excellent organisational and staff management skills. Proven commercial drive and experience in meeting KPIs. Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach. Proficiency in MS Office. Desirable: Degree in business, languages, or tourism (optional).
