SEN experience is a plus, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must About the Role As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students. You will work closely with staff and parents to create a supportive environment that meets the needs of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will be pivotal in fostering a love for learning and helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities of a Teacher in a Primary setting: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEN. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils. Uphold high standards of behaviour and set a positive example for students. Stay committed to professional development and school initiatives. Requirements for the Primary Teacher Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching in a primary school setting. Knowledge and experience working with SEN pupils is advantageous. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate young learners effectively.
