The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. This includes the river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas alongside the main roads that represent 25% of the city.

Position
Location: Campbell Park, Milton Keynes with travel to other sites
Contract: Maternity Cover, 12-months
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - 9am until 5.30pm with an hour unpaid lunch break.
We would be looking for a handover crossover, for the successful candidate we would like a start date on or around the first week of April 2025.
Key Objectives:
* Support the Operations & Environment Teams to operate efficiently and effectively.
* Administrate our portfolio of grazing and dog training paddocks.
* Co-ordinate the sale of firewood and green interments.
* Support the team (or CEO or Line Manager) in promoting the values and culture of the organisation.
Requirements
* Strong organisational ability.
* Previous administrative experience in a busy office, practice, or business.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Proficient and skilled with Microsoft 365 applications.
* Ability to manage changing work priorities and working to deadlines.
* Experience using a Geographical Information System (GIS).
* Knowledge of Milton Keynes’ geography.
* Enthusiasm for Milton Keynes parks and greenspaces.
