A great holiday package About the role The Warehouse Trainer is a fully competent Warehouse Operative who will primarily be deployed as a Warehouse Trainer, for new and existing Warehouse Colleagues. At Peak times, and where there is no Training requirement, the Trainer will carry out normal Warehouse duties. Warehouse Trainer responsibilities include delivering the training for new starters and conducting refresher training for existing colleagues. Training Warehouse Operatives on the relevant processes and procedures for their roles, ensuring competency testing is carried out and completed. You will be responsible for Warehouse Trainer Main Duties: To co-ordinate and conduct practical training on all warehouse functions. Working closely with the Warehouse Management Team, Health & Safety Manager, and Human Resources, in delivering a bespoke New Intake Training Programme, and delivering Refresher Training in line with legislation to existing Colleagues. The Trainer will assist with updating and maintaining the training files in an organized and auditable manner. To assist with updating procedures and training in all operational ways of working. Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety at Work are strictly adhered to at all times. Warehouse Operative Main Duties: The picking, packing and loading of our customer food orders for delivery, Processing goods in effectively and efficiently Performing stock checks as and when necessary Replenishing the DC with goods in stock Performing the necessary hygiene checks You will need Skills / Experience required: Must be a confident and clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills. A positive attitude towards work, good work ethic and the ability to engage with and motivate colleagues is essential. IT skills including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Presentation skills / experience would be advantageous, but not essential. Previous experience of working in a Warehouse and LLOP /PPT Trained Previous experience of working on Forklift Truck / Counterbalance Truck (a license is highly desirable, but not essential). A Trainer Qualification would be advantageous from a recognised Training Organisation such as ITSSAR, you will be required to attend a 10 Day ITSSAR Qualified Instructor/ Examiner Course in order to fulfil the Trainer / Examiner role.
