Job Title: Principle Business Manager
Working hours: Monday - Friday
Contract Length: Initially 6 months temporary with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person!
Salary: Daily rate £269.23 inside IR35
Main Purpose:
To build, expand and lead a successful commercial trade waste business. This position is not only about managing operations but also about driving growth and maximising sales in the trade waste sector. The ideal candidate will lead the team to achieve both operational excellence and significant business development.
Responsibilities:
Actively drive the growth of our client's trade waste business, identifying and capitalising on new sales opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies that align operational management with business growth and long-term objectives.
Lead the Trade Waste Operations Teams with a strong focus on sales maximisation and business development.
Ensure that operations are compliant with relevant legislation and align with our client's commitment to environmental stewardship and innovative waste solutions.
Manage operational budget and resources, focusing on cost-effective strategies that support business growth.
Set and monitor key performance indicators related to sales and operational efficiency, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.
Work with the Senior Leadership Team to establish and maintain appropriate systems via the Company's Integrated Management System to enable effective measurement and reporting of operational issues, opportunities and achievements to support the delivery of business contracts within agreed formats and timescales.
Keep abreast of market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and identify potential areas for expansion.Person Requirements:
Qualifications
Degree/Foundation degree/HND in Engineering or related field. WAMITAB COTC (level 4) preferred.Skills
Exceptional leadership

Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.Experience
