This is an inclusive and dynamic primary school dedicated to providing high-quality education for all of their students. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team and inspire students in Key Stage 2 to achieve their potential. Starting September 2025.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
2. Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom.
3. Monitor and assess student progress through regular testing, observations, and feedback.
4. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
5. Support students with their personal development, ensuring their social, emotional, and academic growth.
6. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and deliver integrated lessons and school projects.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and welfare.
8. Take part in school meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
9. Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
1. A degree in Education or a relevant subject.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
3. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods.
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
6. Passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.
