ABOUT THE ROLE
My client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who doesn’t mind getting stuck in and turning their hand to anything that comes their way. Your traditional duties will involve appraising tender documents and preparing estimates as necessary, pricing of Bills of Quantities including build costs, preliminaries, and fees as well as measuring and pricing accurate complete cost plans. The initial scheme you will manage is their Heathrow framework, which has an annual turnover of £3M.
REQUIREMENTS
It’s not essential but it is preferred that you are degree qualified in a Quantity Surveyor course. It is however paramount, that you have experience of managing projects valued over £1M, within the rail and infrastructure sector and this must have been gained whilst working for a specialist subcontractor or main contractor in the UK. My client is looking for a professional who holds a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveyor and as this is a permanent opportunity, you must hold stability of employment, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 2 years.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this permanent opportunity, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however successful professionals could expect to target a basic salary anywhere from £55,000 – £70,000. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
