Salary Starting from £24,044, rising to £25,433 pro rata
Are you an excellent administrator and communicator looking for an opportunity in 2025? We have a great opportunity for someone to come and join our friendly team within a busy HR department working a few hours every day.
About the role
In this role you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks across the whole employee lifecycle, and will provide excellent administration and support solutions that ensures we are able to meet the needs of our customers, and provide an excellent HR recruitment service.
You must be interested in developing and maintaining an understanding of good practice and applying it to ensure HR processes are carried out effectively and with a high level of attention to detail.
A typical day:
* Managing a shared inbox dealing with enquiries from line managers, external companies and employees.
* Updating the in-house database.
* Collating information using Excel and MS Teams e.g. reviewing and processing relocation & visa claims, as well as interview expenses.
* Ensuring we have the correct documentation in place to satisfy immigration requirements.
* Assisting the Recruitment Team with administrative tasks.
* Assisting in coordinating the universities yearly Work Experience programme.
* Triaging general queries from Hiring Managers and HR staff.

About you
You will be adept at multi-tasking, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a positive, professional manner with the ability to deal tactfully and confidently with people at all levels. Given the nature of this role, excellent attention to detail is critical as is the ability to prioritise work effectively and to work to deadlines on your own initiative. You don't need to have worked in an HR department to be successful in this role, but it is essential that you have excellent IT literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written.

This post is part-time, working 29.2 hours per week. We operate a hybrid working model where you can work flexibly from home and the office. We are ideally looking for someone that wishes to work a few hours every day, Monday to Friday.
