You will be working for the Department for Business and Trade- a high-profileernment organisation who are tasked with promoting and developing trade within the UK. They are an excellent organisation who prioritise the wellbeing of their employees through flexible work patterns and hybrid working. They are looking for experienced SC Cleared candidates to help them fulfil intermediate requirements.
Your new role
You will be provided direct administrative support from the Chief Finance Officer. This is a high profile posting which will enhance your experience tenfold, as you will be working closely with various senior leaders who hold prestigious postings across the organisation. You will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operations of all office operations, namely diary management, inbox management and general secretarial support. Your daily tasks may include:
1. Supporting the Chief Finance Officer with appointment setting, calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence
2. Acting as the point of contact between the Chief Finance Officer and internal and external colleagues, anticipating and determining their needs to ensure greater efficiencies
3. Helping to manage the Chief Finance Officer’s in-box,missioning additional information where/when necessary, responding on behalf of the Directors and directing everyday activities
4. Coordinating staff meetings, taking and disseminating meeting notes and action tracking
5. Ownership of the Chief Finance Officer’s intranet content and SharePoint sites.
6. Supporting arranging team away days and events
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for candidates who only have an SC Clearance. Without this, we unfortunately cannot consider you for this role.
