Your new role
* Lead statutory reporting, tax returns, annual audits, and compliance with regulations.
* Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies and robust financial controls.
* Manage corporate reporting, month-end close, and highlight key risks and opportunities.
* Develop and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and development.
* Optimise financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and enhanced reporting quality.
* Support annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
* Improve project, capital expenditure, and inventory accounting processes.
* Lead cash flow monitoring, working capital reporting, and financing initiatives.
* Act as deputy to the Finance Director, as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Fully qualified ACA, practice-trained accountant
* Sufficient years of experience in a financial control role, preferably within a high-growth, fast-paced, changing environment.
* Have leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
* Great relationship builder and can develop relationships both internally and externally.
* Appetite to drive change across all aspects of the finance landscape, from both a team and system/process perspective.
