Sir John Nelthorpe School, a school renowned for its exceptional PE provision, is seeking a passionate and motivated Teacher of Physical Education (Boys) to join our dynamic team.
This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 if desired.
About the Role:
As a PE Teacher at Sir John Nelthorpe School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive PE lessons to pupils at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
There will also be the exciting opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 for candidates with a strong interest in Sixth Form teaching.
You will have the chance to work with a talented and dedicated team, and your contribution will be key to maintaining our outstanding reputation for PE provision.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach PE at KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupil development in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.
Foster a passion for physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among pupils.
Provide opportunities for pupils to excel in a range of sports and physical activities.
If desired, teach at KS5, helping pupils reach their full potential in A-Level PE.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school sports events to promote an active and competitive culture.
Contribute to the continued development of the PE department, including planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher with a passion for Physical Education and a commitment to inspiring pupils to reach their full potential.
Have experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4, with the desire to teach KS5 if possible.
Be dedicated to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
Be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
