We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Therapy Support Assistant to join our dynamic therapy team.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students with SEND and eager to make a real difference in their educational experience. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) to deliver essential therapy services, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the therapy team in delivering therapy to students across the school including those in the Language, OT, and Combined Therapy streams.
* Provide direct therapy under the supervision of OTs/SLTs to students in individual, pair, and group settings (e.g., TTRS).
* Assist with the delivery of the Life Skills programme.
* Potentially manage a small caseload of students under supervision.
* Participate in therapy-specific training and continuous professional development (CPD).
* Attend therapy team meetings and contribute to the planning of therapy provision.
* Maintain accurate written therapy records in line with school policy.
* Support students in class by helping to generalise skills such as GMS/FMS and strategies to various classroom settings (e.g., cooking, PE, science).
* Assist students who experience difficulty transitioning into the school.
* Provide administrative support to the therapy team, including filing and copying.
* Coordinate the provision of the TTRS input, managing the online portal.
* Assist in producing resources for the therapy team.
* Invigilate and act as reader/scribe during exams.
* Undertake general LSA duties, including break and lunchtime duties.
* Attend general school training sessions and collaborate with class teachers and teaching assistants to model strategies.
* Any other duties as required to support the therapy team and the students.
Essential Skills:
* Experience working with children, either in mainstream or specialist schools.
* Genuine interest in working with SEND students.
* Ability to work independently and flexibly.
* Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
* ELKLAN trained.
* Experience working on communication and interaction and/or physical and sensory targets.
* Experience working with OTs and SLTs.
