Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Meter Fitter to work within our metering, private side leakage and customer related department based in Bradford.
You will form a pivotal part of the metering team and will interact with staff, sub-contractors, and Yorkshire Water. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional candidate who is seeking to develop their career in management.
As a Meter Fitter, you will support the Area Manager in maintaining performance to achieve our business objectives, ensuring a ‘First Class Service’ delivery is maintained and that a quality service is always delivered. You will assist in raising the profile of the business and provide day-to-day management of all work priorities and individual performance contributions.
As the Water Meter Fitter, your duties & responsibilities will be:
* Ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practices.
* Complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.
* Demonstrate an excellent level of customer engagement/service.
* Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle, and tooling.
* Adhere to any relevant policies and procedures.
* Escalate issues as necessary.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
* Clean Water Experience
* Driving License
* Water hygiene card
* Water SHEA or CSCS
* Emergency First Aid
* IT Literate
* LA1 Streetwork
Training can be provided to the right candidate.
