You will have the opportunity to work across several different business functions to gain full appreciation of the nuclear lifecycle, and understand how the client have earned an enviable reputation, built on the principles of quality, service and trust.
Each graduate is allocated a mentor over a two-year period, who will work closely with you to support the induction process and your subsequent career development.
The role
Over the next two years, your work here will have a real impact on making our world safer both for now and for future generations to come. This early exposure will equip you with the breadth of knowledge to ensure you start off with a strong footing in your career with us.
Within the Safety Case discipline, you will support their clients as part of a team in projects of new build, decommissioning or ongoing operational facilities in providing safety cases and associated assessments. To ensure work is delivered to a high standard, timely and to the programme agreed.
Requirements
Responsibilities will include:
* Being an active contributor in the safety cases for high hazard category facilities/plants
* Being part of the governance process, such as responding to client, peer review and safety committee comments
* Production of all major elements of safety cases, in particular fault analysis and the identification and specification of safety systems
* Participating in the integrated design process and interfacing with engineers and human factors specialist
* Attendance at meetings with more senior colleagues and interaction with the client

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will:
* Have a degree (or working towards)
* Be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship (unfortunately we do not sponsor visas at this level)
