Summary Job Description Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Powerplant / Lifecycle Engineer at our Caledonian site based at Prestwick. Reporting to the Gate 0 / Gate 1 Engineering People Leader you will be part of a team focused on providing work instructions to the shop, completing engine hardware condition reports and delivering fleet support for Customers. Job Description Key Responsibilities include: Primary technical point of contact for all customers Creation of engine specific workscopes Review of engine disassembly and engine hardware and timely reporting of condition via shop visit reports Development of SB baselines tailored to meet customer(s) operational requirements Interpretation and translation of customer maintenance documents into Caledonian specific internal documents to ensure compliance with customer requirements Preparation and presentation of periodic fleet hardware reviews Day to day customer communications, e.g. specific engine issues, on wing troubleshooting Review of Customer MRB material Technical Expert for allocated engine model: Creation and maintenance of SB Baselines SI creation / maintenance and review Maintain knowledge of developing fleet issues, communicate and action as appropriate to avoid exposure to site and customers Liaise with GEnx CTP on fleet and shop technical issues as may arise. Liaise with and support GEnx Platform on technical, contractual or CSA related issues as may be required. Liaise with Gate 2 Technical Team to develop module level repairs to avoid workscope escalations Liaise with other internal departments / external vendors on any technical issues as required to support business needs / objectives. Support other departments (test cell / accessories) as may be required in periods of holidays / absence / customer or supplier visits. Required Qualifications This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Life Cycle Productivity. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
