Breakfast Club Supervisor
Part time, permanent, term time only
Required from 22nd April 2025
We are seeking to appoint a kind and caring person, who is enthusiastic and passionate about working with children, to join the marvellous wrap around care team and supervise our before school Breakfast Club which currently runs from 7.45 am - 8:30 am each day.
Our Breakfast Club provides a stimulating environment in which children enjoy a continental style breakfast, complete their homework, can be creative, relax and have fun through supervised activities and games! Breakfast Club is a vital provision for our working parents.
An NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) related to childcare and/or play, a first aid qualification and basic food hygiene certificate is essential, or the willingness to gain these qualifications. Previous experience of providing care and activities within a childcare, play, educational or healthcare environment is essential as is the ability to keep accurate attendance records. * Hours of work: 7.30am – 8:30am Mondays to Fridays during Ipswich School term time only (a total of 5 hours each week).
* The salary for this post is currently £14.67 per hour (£2,890 per annum if working a full year, which includes paid holiday in accordance with the Working Time Regulations).
* Staff are able to use the School’s swimming pool and fitness gym (in compliance with appropriate rules and regulations).
* After 3 months’ service and/or in line with workplace pension legislation, you will be entitled to join a defined contribution pension scheme with 10% employer contributions.
* Support staff are entitled to generous fee remission once they have completed 3 years’ service.
* Staff have access to a cycle to work scheme and a 24.7 Employee Assistance program including mental health and wellbeing support.
