Youth Support Worker

Salary: £90-£100 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Youth Support Worker to join a dedicated school in Cornwall. Responsibilities
- Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both on a one-to-one basis and within classroom settings.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, supporting their emotional and social development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support individual learning plans.
- Adapt to the diverse needs of pupils, using patience, empathy, and creativity.
Person Specification
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN or transferable skills from a support work background.
- A genuine passion for working with young people, particularly those with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- A full-time commitment to the role.
- A valid driver's licence (desirable but not essential).
