Triangle Recruitment are looking to recruit a Despatch/Purchasing Administrator for its busy client in Stretton, Burton-on-Trent, on a Temp to Perm basis. The role is to provide an efficient administration service to the busy Despatch Office, working alongside colleagues from within the business and from Transport companies. It is a requirement that all training events specified by the company are attended. Duties Include: - To be a proactive enthusiastic member of the Despatch Office Team. To ensure that all administration duties will be performed to an excellent standard. To oversee the induction of hauliers and delivery drivers to site and ensure adherence to site PPE requirements Downloading and printing pick-slips, pallet labels and dispatch notes as required. Checking that all signature and SOX requirements are adhered to. To assist in the duties of the Dispatch & Loading team, when required, including monthly/quarterly Finished Goods stock takes. Supporting the monitoring and generation of KPI data Processing receipts/invoices for incoming deliveries. General administration, photocopying and faxing/emailing duties. To assist the Production Manager and Yard Manager as required. To provide holiday cover for other functions within the Dispatch Office. Active participation in CI team activities. Liaising customers in relation to delivery notice Skills and Experience: - Good interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills Flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure and use own initiative Fully proficient in Microsoft applications including Office, Excel and Word 2010 Applicants need to show a committed and conscientious approach. Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar Windows based system.(Desirable, as full training will be given) Hours of Work :- 6am to 2pm (Possibly 06:30am - 14:30Pm) Rate of Pay :- £13.14p/h
