Type of Position: Paraplanner / Practice Manager - Rainham
Pay: £35k - £50k
Our client is looking for a talented Paraplanner/Practice Manager to join their team, who can demonstrate a background of providing high level technical paraplanning including the production of cash flow models and high-quality suitability reports. You will be providing technical expertise to support and assist in this process, through undertaking detailed research and analysis of a wide variety of financial planning solutions, producing compliant financial planning reports for our Financial Advisors/Partners to present to clients.
This role will be based at our client's Rainham (Kent) office, working hybrid of 3 days office based.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To assist the Financial Planner in formulating the advice to the client, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate.
2. Review client objectives ensuring they are clear, concise and achievable when compared against the client’s financial circumstance.
3. Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, whilst considering the client objectives.
4. Review asset allocation for any investment/pension holdings.
5. Complete financial cashflow forecasts, clearly demonstrating the clients current and future financial position.
6. Prepare Financial Plans, clearly outlining the client’s current position, where they need to be and how they will get there.
7. Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties regarding any technical queries.
8. Accurately complete new business sheets to be handed over to the PA.
9. Provide support and assistance to other team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines met.
10. Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Be level 4 diploma qualified as a minimum and ideally working towards Chartered status.
2. Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a paraplanning role.
3. Have a good attention to detail.
4. Be a good team player.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
6. Be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment.
7. Be organised and able to manage a busy workload.
